How to prepare a new brush before first use

We recommend placing the tip of the brush into water — either under running water or in a clean container. Gently press the tip to allow water to enter the brush. The glue inside will begin to crack and dissolve as the water seeps in.

Then, gently press the brush tip to release the water, and rotate the brush, pressing a different side of the tip. Repeat this process 2–3 times. You’ll feel the core of the brush starting to soften.

Finally, use a kitchen towel or any thick tissue to gently blot dry the brush. Once the hairs are soft and free of glue, your brush is ready to use.
