Friday on-site painting course starting on 9 May

Hello Everyone,

Due to the popularity of our painting courses, we are pleased to let you know that Guanghwa Bookshop has organised a further weekday on-site painting course which will start on Friday 9th May from 11:30 to 13:30 - How to paint Bauhinia Blakeana Flowers ( Also called Hong Kong Orchid Tree) 紫荊花, Papaver Rhoeas 虞美人, Dahlias 大丽花 and Insects 昆虫

This course will run every Friday for six weeks, the venue is at the bookshop, and we will provide the materials.

The cost for a six-week course is £90
We also do a 'pay as you go' option at £16 each lesson.

• Time: 11:30 to 13:30
• Topics: Bauhinia Blakeana Flowers, Papaver Rhoeas, Dahlias, and Insects 
This course is suitable for Beginner and above Level.

• Painting Tutor: Mr Jian Chu Xu
Mr. Xu started to learn Chinese calligraphy in 1980 under supervision of late calligrapher Mr. Laoyun Yu who was a famous Chinese calligrapher. Mr. Xu is the chairman of the Chinese Poetry Calligraphy & Painting Society of UK, Honorary Principal of Shifu Art College of China. He received an excellence award in the Chinese calligraphy competition UK in 2011 and a special award in the international Chinese competition in 2014.
